Arsenal For Life!!!

So last Friday was a public holiday. Decided to go back to Melaka. Took the bus to go home. I dont wanna explain my jourrney from my apartment to the bus stop outside and then to the lrt and straight to Pudu. It was fucking horrible so i'm not gonna explain any further in detail.

So Saturday was the match between Stoke City and Arsenal. But before that i watched the much talk about game which was Chelsea vs ManCity and the reason was John Terry and Wayne Bridge. As everyone know, JT had an affair with WB's ex-gf. Made her pregnant and then paid for the abortion. So the thing that everyone wants to see was whether WB will shake JT's hand before the game starts. And the thing about this handshake thing is that normally it will not be shown but for this game it was extra special and there was live coverage to see the handshake. I thought WB would shake his hand. But NO NO NO..... JT extended his hand to shake WB's hand but WB ignore him and went to shake the other player next to him. I mean WOWOWWWEEEEEE... That was an awesome thing to do on WB's part. But the worst part was the entire game, Chelsea fans were booing WB everytime he touched the ball... You cheer your idiot player and boo the VICTIM??? Very classy people -____- But fret not, ManCity trashed Chelsea 4-2... All i can say is HUAHUAHUAHUAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA!!!! Serves you right Mr. JT..

Anyway moving on to my lovely team.. Well i thought ManCity beating Chelsea was gonna be the highlight for Saturday but my team actually went on to take the spotlight.. All for the right and wrong reasons. As you know, Stoke City is famous for the throws especially from Delap. Their first goal was in fact a throw on the 8th minute. So we were trailing 1-0 until Bendtner, who is slowly becoming my favourite, headed our 1st goal. And it was 1-1 during the 1st half and then at the 66th minute, a nightmare happened in front of my eyes. Ryan Shawcross lunged at Aaron Ramsey, entering into a tackle, and left Ramsey's right leg hanging in a very awkward position. It was so hard to watch and they didnt even show replay cos it was so bad and awful. So for about 10 minutes, the game stopped and you could see the distraught faces on Vermaelen, Cesc, Sol, Clichy and most of our players. In the end, Ramsey was stretched off into an ambulance and the game continued. I was freaking nervous because we were at 1-1 and i wasnt sure whether we could win this game as the players were clearly so distracted by the injury. And then handball occured in the penalty box on the 90th+ minute and we were given penalty. It was a huge burden for Cesc to make sure he net this in to ensure a win and of course he scored!!! I was literally crying at this point. It was a very emotional moment for me and i'm sure for all Arsenal fans. Cesc dedicated that goal for Ramsey. And then just 3 minutes before the game ended, Vermaelen scored the 3rd goal and that was game over for Stoke. I was crying like a baby... You could see that on that night the players were men instead of boys. We knew that this was a great moment for us. At the end of the game, all the Arsenal players gather around in a circle and it just clearly showed that we were determined to win this for Ramsey and to win the league. I can clearly say that in this 6 years of supporting this team, this game was the one that reaffirmed my love for this team and that i was right to support this team. I;ve never cried for a game and i cried like a freaking baby for this game. Anyone who's not a fan or a football fan for that matter will think i'm weird and crazy but who cares. Now we have to make sure we win this league and win this for Ramsey and for those who dont believe in our team. Of course it was hard to celebrate the win because at the same time, we lost a player for the remainder of the season. But i think we are strong and we actually can win the league. After the injury i could see the firing spirit in every player. I am proud of this team. Even until now, whenever i read or hear bout the stoke game, i'll get so emotional that i dont wanna hear or read about it. Cesc showed why he deserved to be the captain, Sol tried to bring the team together which reminds me of the invincibles era, Clichy improved tremendously, Eboue was good, Bendtner is really fast to become my favourite, Vermaelen of course won my heart because of his reaction towards the injury and then went on to score and became the only defender with the highest number of goals in the whole league. Almunia was good too. Made a few good saves and of course the 1st goal cant be avoided so i wont blame him. I'm just so proud of this team. Screw all those who had no confidence in us. We are back and we will be champion this season!!!!!!
